Covington 761 Deluxe Commercial Wet Belt Sander
A substantial 3-by-41.5-inch production wet belt sander with a 1/2 hp motor and both 13-inch and 4-inch back plates.
The 761 is not a casual alternative to the compact Gryphon. Its 41.5-inch belt, half-horsepower motor and tall supported back plate are designed for large or heavy glass and repeated production work. The bigger abrasive path also spreads wear across much more belt surface.

What ownership is actually like
This machine needs a permanent water connection or carefully planned gravity feed, a controlled drain and room for a long belt change. Tracking should be checked after every belt change, and the back plate must stay free of trapped coarse grit.
